The Battle of Jalandhar was fought in 1750 by Sikh forces led by Sardar Gulab Singh and Mughal forces led by the Faujdar of Jalandhar.
Events[edit]
Sardar Gulab Singh was the head of the Dallewalia Misl.[2][3][4] In 1750, he attacked the city of Jalandhar with only 150 companions.[5] He fought and defeated the entire army of the faujdar.[6] This battle increased Gulab Singh's reputation among the Sikhs.[7]
