Dhirkot is a Tehsil in Bagh District, Azad Kashmir, Pakistan.Name Dhir kot is famous for the name of thir (Who was the sardar of Tazyal Rajpoot Raja Thir Khan) later on its change to Dhir Kot. 68% of this tribe are papulated here. Which is the largest tribe of Bagh District.Abbasi and many others tribes are the major tribes.

It is the largest Tehsil of Bagh district.Its has many towns and villages.like Arja, Rangla, Mallot, chamankot and chriala

Dhirkot city has a town comttee MR.Raja Zahoor is the chairmen of town comttee. There are many shopping malls, hotels, Private and Govt Hosptitals, toursim resorts franchies of many multi national and National companies.

It is known for its deodar jungle.[2]
