Untitled[edit]

Lancashire wrestling and catch-as-catch-can are synonymous. Catch-as-catch-can wrestling is Lancashire wrestling. Therefore catch-as-catch-can was extant in Britain before it transferred to the United States. Regarding capitalisation: Schwingen, the Swiss national sport, is an exception as ALL nouns in German are capitalised (have a capital initial) therefore Schwingen is ALWAYS written with a capital initial, as is Ranggeln, the Austrian folk style which you seem not to have heard about yet. 86.31.193.211 15:58, 1 January 2007 (UTC) Donald Black[reply]
