Ivan M. Lalić (born November 26, 1965) is a Serbian playwright and cultural manager. He is married to architect Maja Vidaković Lalić, and they have two children together, Tina and Lav.

Biography[edit]

Ivan Lalić graduated in dramaturgy from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts.[1] He was born in Belgrade in 1965.

His plays "In the Flame of Passion" and "Hero of the Nation" have been performed on over 50 stages in the country and abroad.[1] He was the director of the Sterija Theatre until he resigned from the position.[2] He was also the director of the Cinema City Festival.[2]

Personal Life[edit]

Ivan Lalić married architect Maja Vidaković Lalić in 2009. They have two children together, Tina and Lav.

Career[edit]

Lalić co-founded the Mikser Festival alongside his wife Maja Vidaković Lalić in 2006. The festival, which promotes design, architecture, urban planning, new technologies, art, music, and communications, has become a significant cultural event in Serbia.[3][4] The Mikser Festival invites international and local experts from various fields within the creative industries.[3] The festival is part of the Mikser umbrella organization, which includes the Mikser House, a gallery and cultural space located in the Savamala neighborhood.[5] In 2017, they expanded their activities by founding a branch of Mikser House in Sarajevo.[6]
