Character Inclusion[edit]

As decided on the Template: Buffynav discussion, this template and the Buffy template will only included characters who appeared in the opening credits of their respective shows. This means that both Tara and Illyria are included and Angel, Spike, and Cordelia are on both. This is the full extent to which characters will be allowed on the template. This is to prevent it from becoming the size of the old Buffyversenav template.

This template should be on pages that deal with both Buffy and Angel[edit]

There are a decent amount of pages that deal with both Angel and Buffy, and as far as I can tell, many of them don't have this template on them.J52y (talk) 13:49, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Articles which have a significant amount of overlap (Angel, Spike, etc) already have both templates on them. Including both templates on every pages with even the slightest relation to the shows was deemed excessive on the Template:Buffynav talk page. It is fine the way it is. kingdom2 (talk) 17:50, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Recurring Rupert[edit]

Giles is listed as a recurring character on Template: Angelnav. Did he ever appear on Angel?

Template:AngelnavTemplate:Angel (1999 TV series) – This and Buffy the Vampire Slayer are the only television series that use "nav" in the template and are not just named after the show itself. Aspects (talk) 23:41, 1 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support; we've been moving to plain-English instead of gibberish template names for years, especially for templates used in mainspace.  — SMcCandlish ¢ >ʌⱷ҅ʌ<  20:08, 2 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support this would have been a good thing to WP:BOLDly do. Jclemens (talk) 06:52, 3 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
