Not a blatant violation of the username policy. @Ligaturama: Please tell me if I'm missing something obvious here, please. Nick Moyes (talk) 18:07, 24 May 2024 (UTC)
Probably a reference to flanders.bio. Not really close enough name-wise imo. Secretlondon (talk) 19:09, 24 May 2024 (UTC)
The user's only edit is on FlandersBio so it seems evidently short for "FlandersBio fact check", implying shared use. Up to you if you think otherwise of course. Ligaturama (talk) 19:54, 24 May 2024 (UTC)
Place requests for new or upgrading pending changes, semi-protection, full protection, move protection, create protection, template editor protection, or upload protection at the BOTTOM of this section. Temporary extended confirmed protection: Persistent disruptive editing – We have a problem with a new editor not understanding the process of adding sources..... Let's make this unedible for them for a few days until we can figure this out. Best we teach them what to do than just block them out right. Moxy🍁 15:31, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
Declined – Warn the user appropriately then report them to AIV or ANI if they continue. Sorry, but it's difficult to justify protecting the page on account of a single user, not to mention at WP:ECP level, and not to mention going from no protection straight to to ECP (and finally for a page that has never been protected before). El_C 20:35, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
O well..... We will just go ahead and block another potential editor. Moxy🍁 20:55, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
You can work to adjust the protection policy accordingly (I have no strong view either way), but I can't violate it on a whim, Moxy. El_C 21:01, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
I was hoping to go to the soft route with a child editor. Moxy🍁 21:08, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
I don't even know how to respond to that. El_C 23:48, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
We have someone who seems enthusiastic about editing here...... but they're headed down the path to a block. Would be best if we can guide them rather than kick them to the curb. Moxy🍁 23:58, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
You know, an editor can be "surgically" blocked from editing a single article. Warn appropriately and let me know if the problem persists. ~Anachronist (talk) 00:01, 26 May 2024 (UTC)
Thank you for your wording and approach on the users talk page.... This is something I always have a problem with
...

Yeah, I'm awful, I get it. El_C 01:22, 26 May 2024 (UTC)
Declined – Not enough recent disruptive activity to justify protection. Last edit May 21. Before that May 8. Before that May 2. And before that, we're in April. It's just too low activity to qualify for protection. Check out some requests of pages that were protected to see the degree of activity that's usually expected. El_C 01:26, 26 May 2024 (UTC)
Before posting, first discuss with the protecting admin at their talk page. Post below only if you receive no reply.
To find out the username of the admin who protected the page click on "history" at the top of the page, then click on "View logs for this page" which is under the title of the page. The protecting admin is the username in blue before the words "protected", "changed protection level" or "pending changes". If there are a number of entries on the log page, you might find it easier to select "Protection log" or "Pending changes log" from the dropdown menu in the blue box.
Requests to downgrade full protection to template protection on templates and modules can be directed straight here; you do not need to ask the protecting admin first.
If you want to make spelling corrections or add uncontroversial information to a protected page please add {{Edit fully-protected}} to the article's talk page, along with an explanation of what you want to add to the page. If the talk page is protected please use the section below.
Check the archives if you cannot find your request. Only recently answered requests are still listed here.
Ideally, requests should be made on the article talk page rather than here.
Unless the talk page itself is protected, you may instead add the appropriate template among {{Edit protected}}, {{Edit template-protected}}, {{Edit extended-protected}}, or {{Edit semi-protected}} to the article's talk page if you would like to make a change rather than requesting it here. Doing so will automatically place the page in the appropriate category for the request to be reviewed.
If the discussion page and the article are both protected preventing you from making an edit request, this page is the right place to make that request. Please see the top of this page for instructions on how to post requests.
This page is not for continuing or starting discussions regarding content should both an article and its discussion page be protected. Please make a request only if you have a specific edit you wish to make.

I have created 80 articles, primarily focused on Sinophone cinema and fantasy literature, with 2 currently undergoing GAN. All of my articles have been promptly reviewed, and none of them have been deleted or marked for maintenance. I am requesting autopatrolled rights to alleviate the workload of the patrollers, especially those who actively review film articles and have reviewed the majority of my articles, allowing them to allocate more time to address articles that truly require attention. As a side note, I am a veteran editor with patroller rights on Chinese Wikipedia, having authored over 200 articles, including a dozen featured and good articles. While I fully understand that there are differences in policies and MOS across different Wikipedias, I believe this demonstrates my credibility and knowledge in assessing article quality.— Prince of Erebor(The Book of Mazarbul) 13:18, 1 May 2024 (UTC)
I frequently create articles on notable subjects, having authored 530 articles, with the majority facing no issues. Only three were deleted, mainly due to changes in election results affecting their notability. I'm requesting autopatroller rights to ease the burden on other editors reviewing my articles and help reduce the backlog of new article reviews. Sheriff | ☎ 911 | 23:36, 4 May 2024 (UTC)
Hi, I'd like to request Autopatrolled rights, please. A list of articles I created is here, and articles in various states of completion waiting in the wings are here. Cheers, >MinorProphet (talk) 16:17, 15 May 2024 (UTC) MinorProphet (talk) 16:17, 15 May 2024 (UTC)
I have written 93 articles HERE, mostly music, biographies, golf, history, architecture, and people from Tennessee. I'd like to apply for auto patrolled status. I have done many BLPs including 5 GAs and I am familiar with the guidelines. Thank you.Eagledj (talk) 14:41, 16 May 2024 (UTC) Eagledj (talk) 14:41, 16 May 2024 (UTC)

Re-requesting after my one-month trial expired a month ago. I rename pages when it's necessary to make a round-robin swap, draftify new articles, and periodically close RMs. I also sometimes help in renaming categories for CfD. Cremastra (talk) 20:20, 15 May 2024 (UTC)
Hi I am requesting permanent page mover rights. I have been using my rights to help close Requested Moves and WP:RMTR and to the lessor extent draftifying pages. I have been more careful since the last time I requested the rights, doing the required cleanup after moves. I am asking for the renewal early as it took a long time for my rights to be renewed the last time. Thank you for your consideration. Lightoil (talk) 00:56, 20 May 2024 (UTC)

I've created many biographies and have a good understanding of Wikipedia policies. I've fixed vandalism many times and fixed many biography of living persons violations. RowanJ LP (talk) 15:20, 7 May 2024 (UTC)
I have been editing for around 2.5 years now, with specialised focus on field of entertainment. I also often correct typos or do general fixes on articles of various subjects. I have a good knowledge of wikipedia policies and would like to get this pending changes reviewer rights to broaden by experience and get more expertise of Wikipedia. Imsaneikigai (talk) 12:15, 13 May 2024 (UTC)
I have read all the articles and tips for reviewing pending edits. I also have a large, significant history of editing many Engkish and Korean articles about Academics, Music theory, etc. AnAlpineSymphony (talk) 05:17, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
I've done reverting vandalism (Although I was on a hiatus since Golden Week as the vandal level hit 5) for some months now, with my edits growing over 2000 from 89ish including other works, and I request this permission to help with the works. I understand that I did make a misunderstandment couple of weeks ago and I have revised the guidelines to prevent another instance of that happening. (I've been making sure not to miss placing a uw as well). Not planning to request rollbacker until I stop making accidents. ABG (Talk/Report any mistakes here) 01:34, 15 May 2024 (UTC)
I have made some very high quality articles (Aston Martin DB9 FA and Aston Martin Rapide at FAC) so I am very familiar with what content is reliable and what is not. I have reverted vandalism (in fact, reverting vandalism was the first edit I made) and whenever i seen vandalism, I take extreme pride in reverting it. Best 750h+ 13:28, 17 May 2024 (UTC)
Hello User:750h+ . Nice seeing you here! From a quick look at your contributions, it seems like you usually don't leave a warning when reverting vandalism nor an semi-automated edit summary. It's very easy to do with tools like WP:Twinkle. Could you start warning editors? —Femke 🐦 (talk) 12:46, 18 May 2024 (UTC)
Oh, nice to see you here to. :) Noted. 750h+ 12:54, 18 May 2024 (UTC)

I'm applying for rollback rights in order to help with my current recent changes patrolling. With rollback rights, I will gain access to more advanced counter-vandalism tools like AntiVandal and Huggle. I have been patrolling for about a month and made plenty of AIV reports (all of which were successful). BerryForPerpetuity (talk) 12:38, 21 May 2024 (UTC)
I patrol a lot at RC, have made 216 edits, constantly warns users of vandalism, does not edit war. I'm not part of the CVU, but i revert vandalism quite a lot. DANGA14talk 12:21, 22 May 2024 (UTC)

@DANGA14 FYI, successful applicants for Rollback rights will usually have at least 200 edits in the mainspace. Myrealnamm (💬talk · ✏️contribs) at 21:29, 22 May 2024 (UTC)
Not done per above. I noticed you started actively reverting vandalism a little over a week ago. While I appreciate your enthusiasm, I'd like to see you spend more time gaining experience fighting vandalism before assigning you advanced permissions. Keep up the good work, and consider reapplying in a month. Also, please ensure that you are consistently warning editors when you revert their edits (I recommend using tools such as Twinkle or Ultraviolet which makes this extremely easy). Thanks, Fastily 21:31, 23 May 2024 (UTC)
I've been active at recent changes for more than 3 months to help revertvandalism and report AIV, which is successful. Rollback rights need access to a counter-vandalism tool. HirowoWiki (talk | contribs) 01:21, 23 May 2024 (UTC)
A few concerns:
A couple of days ago, you were warned about misleading edits summaries wrt this edit. Please explain, in your own words, why this edit was inappropriate.
I see that you are failing to consistently warn editors when you revert their edits (e.g. 1, 2, 3). Why? Are you aware that we have tools such as Twinkle or Ultraviolet that make this extremely easy?
I forgot to leave a warning message. Also, I made a misleading edit summary and not a typo. HirowoWiki (talk | contribs) 21:47, 23 May 2024 (UTC)
Moving forward, what will you do ensure that you are always leaving a notification? Right after your last reply, I noticed that you failed to notify an editor after making a this revert. What exactly do you mean by "made a misleading edit summary and not a typo"? Like I said, both the contents of the edit and edit summary are inappropriate. Can you explain why? -Fastily 06:16, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
I've undid the last edit; they should leave a warning message. I changed the template with uppercase letters like {{pp|small=yes}} → {{Pp|small=yes}} and {{featured article}} → {{Featured article}}. The template shouldn't be changed in this article. Thank you for the explanation. HirowoWiki (talk | contribs) 07:47, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
I've been patrolling recent changes for almost a year now, and the rollback right would mean I could start using Huggle for that, as I've been meaning to do for a while now. Sneezless (talk) (contribs) 21:44, 24 May 2024 (UTC)
Not done I noticed you make a handful of edits, and then drop off for months at a time. While I appreciate your enthusiasm, I'd like to see you spend at least a month consistently patrolling RecentChanges (Twinkle & Ultraviolet can help with that) before reapplying. Also, please ensure that you are always warning editors when you revert their edits. Thanks, Fastily 06:16, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
Thanks for the tips. I'm already using Redwarn for warnings, but did you notice any particular times when I didn't properly warn users? I've been using the ProblemWelcome and WelcomeIP templates instead fairly often, since most editors I'd otherwise use a warning template on are new editors. Sneezless (talk) (contribs) 13:01, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
I'm requesting the rollback right so I can use Huggle when I'm patrolling recent changes. I was granted the right on trial about a year ago but I never got around to requesting it again. Clearfrienda💬 04:12, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
Not done I reviewed your contributions and found little to no recent anti-vandalism work. Given that your rollback trial ended almost a year ago, I'd like to see you spend time actively participating in RecentChanges patrol before granting you this right. If you're still interested in this tool then please spend at least a month actively patrolling RecentChanges (Twinkle & Ultraviolet can help with that) before reapplying. Also, please ensure that you are consistently warning editors when you revert their edits. Thanks, Fastily 06:16, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
I have been active on RCP over the past month. I would like rollback for the particular case where a vandal persistently vandalizes the same page. It takes time to load via Twinkle and is frustrating when my attempt to revert fails because the vandal or someone else has made more edits. I believe rollback will save me time and make my efforts against vandalism more effective. Air on White (talk) 03:00, 26 May 2024 (UTC)

Hello. I am re-applying for template editor rights, which I was granted on a temporary basis by Primefac (permalink) on 24 February; it is about to expire at 00:00, on 24 May. As I promised in my original request back in February, and as can be seen, I didn't misuse this right in any way. I used it in a very responsible manner, on a periodical basis, and I'm no longer obliged to bother others with template-protected edit requests, and basically have them to do my work for me when it comes to HRTs. Naturally, I would prefer if this right is extended on a permanent basis, but that is up to admins to decide. — Sundostundmppria(talk / contribs) 13:23, 22 May 2024 (UTC)
