Black Lake (song)[edit]

Thanks for expanding this article! I've made a few recent edits but feel free to revert if you disagree with any or all. If you have Good article status as a goal (I hope you do), good luck! Either way , happy editing ---Another Believer (Talk) 22:34, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much! The only edit I made some changes to was the one for the headers in the music video's section, given I'm going to expand it with more content in the coming week and make it a bit more organized regardless. Following that, expanding the lede, and adding a section for its release and promotion, I hope to be able to nominate it for GA status by the end of July (at the very least). Thanks for your edits to it! Isthmus55 (tc) 23:12, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Help[edit]

Hi,

I have been blocked from the Ariana Grande article for an indefinite time. I send a unblock request and still have not get a feedback. Can you please fix two things on the Ariana Grande page for me. I would really appreciate it as I know you don't have to do this

1. Can you re-add “Songwriter” on the lead on the first paragraph? Some editor has removed it without explanation, even if there have been multiple discussions about to keep it there.

2. Sources to Grande's 98 billion streams, which are from reliable outlets like Variety and Deadline, were removed. Can you re-added the info in her achievement section, as it's in the lead, and one of Grande's biggest accomplishments. Sources: 1.https://variety.com/2021/digital/news/hybe-merges-ithaca-holdings-scooter-braun-bts-1234943092/ 2.https://deadline.com/2021/11/ariana-grande-cynthia-erivo-to-star-in-universals-musical-wicked-1234868595/

Thank you. Mirrored7 (talk) 16:40, 27 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Both of your ideas are plausible.
1. Though I personally support adding "songwriter" to the first paragraph, it doesn't seem like an ubiquitous decision. I would suggest bringing the topic up to another user, as I'm not the most involved in her article apart from the image RFC.
2. The first source says she "recently surpassed 90 billion streams," though the second source seems fine. It's kind of an ever-changing number, so maybe only change it every time she reaches another 5 billion (the next time would be 100 billion, presumably, but both sources are from 2021).
So yeah, it's probably better to discuss with someone else. Best of luck on the unblock request, though be aware of Aoi's comment here. Isthmus55 (tc) 17:41, 27 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Seeing your latest comment on that talk page, I'd advise you to maybe not assume bad faith, as it will hinder your chances of getting unblocked. No matter how much you may disagree with another's edits, you should strive for compromise first and criticism second. Isthmus55 (tc) 17:49, 27 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
